Binchotan White Charcoal is crafted from carefully selected hardwood. The wood undergoes a meticulous drying and hand-stacking process in brick ovens, with temperatures controlled at four stages (200°C, 400°C, 550°C, 900°C) over 8 weeks to achieve optimal density.
This charcoal is cut to fit most Japanese-style yakitori, hibachi, or shichirin grills and is also ideal for compact ceramic Kamado-style grills. It is 100% natural, chemical-free, and produces high heat with minimal ash, smoke, or odour. Each piece measures 8-12cm and can be reused by snuffing out or dunking in water.
